Introduction
I am student of medicine at Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences ( Former National University of Iran) and also student of computer science at Shahid Beheshti University. In year 2000, I obtained my Pre-University-year certificate in Math/Physics from Jahan Ara High School. In the same year , I participated in Konkoor (Iran National Universities Entrance Exam) in the field of Experimental Sciences (Oloome Tajrobi) and got the 271st rank in Iran National Universities Entrance Exam (Konkoor) among about 400,000 participants willing to enter the universities.I must utter that I have been trained in ILI and now I master English, French and Persian and has got A1- DELF and B1-DELF certificate of French from "Section Culturelle de l'ambassade de France en Teheran". Also I am able to communicate in Arabic.
Currently in Iran, the medical program to be a GP is a continuous 7-year program of undergraduate and graduate program together as a whole ( consisted of 287 units) . I am, currently in the 13th semester(7th year) of total 14 semesters(7 years). In this regard, I have passed more than 230 units.In addition , in "Iran Medical Basic Sciences Exam" held all over the country in September 2003, I obtained the 1st rank through medical students in SBUMS and also 3rd in the ranking of test takers of all medical universities in Iran with the score of 185 out of 210. Moreover, in "Iran Pre-Internship Clinical Sciences Comprehensive Exam" held all over the country I got the 2nd rank among students of medicine at SBUMS with the score of 161 out of 200. Thus, I'm currently working as Intern in rotations in 14 hospitals affiliated to SBMUS.

My Family:
Alireza Chitsaz, My father is a computer expert and has mastery on software development specially on banking and financial software solutions. He has BSc in Computer software engineering from Shahid Beheshti University and MSc in Industrial management. my elder brother, Hamidreza Chitsaz, has been a student of software engineering in Sharif University. he has obtained his BSc in Software engineering and also BSc in Pure math in Sharif University of Technology. he has been also a member of RoboCup team and succeeded in several championships all over the world. he is currently Ph.D student of Computer Science ( Artificial intelligence and Robotics) in University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC), Illinois, USA. my elder sister is student of medicine at Arak University of Medical sciences, Arak, Iran. My younger brother is student of Civil Engineering at Sharif University of Technology. I have got also two sisters studying at high school.

My Research
Projects :
1.DLN (Distance Learning Network) project:
DLN is a form of computer assisted learning method that enables the user(student) to have connection to his instructor and course materials independently of time and place(asynchronous learning).
in this method the student can advance on the course independently of strict time of semester and other students' paces, and he can finish the online course in any time scale so that, in any time he an take the final test. for more information you can see the webpage:www.dln.org
DLN center primarily established in Shohada Hospital by management and course design of Dr. Abbas Forootan, MD/Ph.D.
2.Hydatid Disease management protocol: I have been involved in the project proposed and supervised by Dr.Farrokh Saidi, MD, FACS, FRCS, Thoracic Surgeon who is greatly famous for his comprehensive studies on the Hydatid Cyst infections and his book on the subject. in this 5 year follow-up, we are seeking for the optimal protocol for liver hydatid cyst management, defining the surgical and conservative indications and their criteria of assessment.
3.Glycosylated End Products as predictors of well-managed Glycemic Control
4.WHO Clinical Practice Guidelines Adaption (Under Iran's National Health Sector Reform Project): in this project, I'm working as a member of Local CPG's adaption which are supposed to be distributed and implemented in Primary health Care Centers (PHC) specially General Practitioners. It includes common signs and symptoms with which patients present in Primary Health Care Centers. I have adapted and developed "Allergic Rhinitis Management Guideline" with Consultation of ENT FAculty members of Iran's ENT Society and also "Community-Acquired Pneumonia Management Guideline" in Iran's National Research Institute of Tuberculosis and Lung Disease ( NRITLD).
5. Multi-Drug Resistant Tuberculosis Treatment: as my thesis, I'm currently working on MDR TB treatment in the second national cohort for MDR TB treatment at Iran's National Research Institute of Tuberculosis and Lung Disease ( NRITLD).
6- Deep Vein Thrombosis and its risk factors to give rise to Pulmonary Emboli
